Saturday we met friends for lunch on McKinney Avenue and had a great time catching up on life and current events. This group always takes a group selfie before parting, and it was posted on Facebook with all of us tagged for exposure. We got hooked on Food Network cooking competition shows this summer. We were on a business and vacation trip to Washington, D.C., and the television in our hotel room was a mess at night. Setting a Table

“How many of you can walk into your neighbor’s house, get cookies out of their pantry, and then sit down at their table and eat them?”

That was a question Kristin Schell posed to participants at the annual Neighborhood Summit in Garland on Saturday.
